The Devil Wears Prada have been on a tear for the last entirety of their career but most especially when it comes to the rollout of their new album Flowers due out on November 14th. Their latest offering is a four song EP called Where The Flowers Never Grow which features two new tracks and is accompanied a short film by Wyatt Clough.
Last year I spoke to Jeremy Depoyster about the first single ‘Ritual’ and how writing that led to the rest of the songs.
‘I feel like when we started to write the new stuff including ‘Ritual’ it was more like “ok well that may be how I feel but I kind of need to figure out a way to get through it…Maybe you get in your car on the way to work and you listen to this music that really resonates with you but then it’s like, you gotta go to work, and then you gotta go hang out with your family and you have to show up for your friends…so it’s trying to reckon with how to do that and maybe not even having an answer.(laughs)’
