Metallica was a guest on The Howard Stern show Wednesday morning and performed three songs live from their headquarters in San Rafael, California. During the 19 minute set, which can be heard below, Metallica played “Wherever I May Roam”, “The Unforgiven”, and “All Within My Hands”.
Earlier this week, Metallica announced a Drive-In concert set for August 29th. The will be airing the concert at hundreds of drive-ins around the country. Locally, the show will be played at the Field Of Scenes Drive-In in Freedom, starting at 8:40 P.M. with tickets going on sale on August 14th. One concert ticket will admit one carload of fans, allowing up to six people to enjoy the show at the drive-in. Tickets will also include four downloads of the upcoming S&M2 album.
