The former Stone Temple Pilots front man passed away in 2015 from an “accidental” drug overdose while on tour with his solo band. Now the Internal Revenue Service is going after the estate for a reported $818,569.62 that were not paid between 2012 to 2015. The lein was filed against the estate which lists his ex-wife Mary Weiland as the representative in charge of the estate. This is on top of the $250,000 lein by the California State Tax Franchise Board that the estate was hit with last year.
One way or another the IRS get’s their money.
