Rob Zombie wants you to give him ideas for a cover to record with Marilyn Manson. Of course last year they did “Helter Skelter” by The Beatles and performed it nightly on their Twins of Evil tour. So Zombie posted on Instagram,
“We did ‘Helter Skelter.’ We are looking for some good ideas for another possible collaboration. I know I will get lots of goofy responses, but I am seriously looking for a good idea.”
There have been plenty of goofy responses including “Easy Lover” by Phillip Bailey and Phil Collins, but there are also many interesting suggestions that have potential, like “For Whom the Bell Tolls” by Metallica, or “When the Levee Breaks” by Led Zeppelin. Even Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx chimed in saying they should cover “Shout at the Devil.” Check out the expanding list of suggestions on the Instagram post.
See Zombie and Manson for a re-do at this year’s Rock USA July 19th at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh.
