I kicked this episode off this new music from one of my favorite local Chicago bands and a mainstay in the doom/stoner scene. That band is Black Road. They dropped a new video for their tune “Blood on the Blade”. Check it out!

This week, I got to interview a band that I have been dying to interview for quite a long time. I sat down with Ben Savage of Whitechapel to discuss their new album The Valley dropping on March 27th. You can pre-order the album here. In my opinion, this album is going to easily be one of the best of the year. It is inspired by actual events that transpired in the childhood of lead vocalist Phil Bozeman. Guaranteed to be a BANGER.
I also got to shine a local spotlight on the band Dead Pedals out of Wausau, WI. These guys play a brand of folk/blues that has a bite. Check out the interview below!
