Mastodon have been hard at work at their new Atlanta, GA studio crafting the follow-up to 2017’s Emperor of Sand.
Revealing to Kerrang! that new music is on the way, guitarist Bill Kelliher describes one of the songs as a “fun listen”. Brann Dailor, drummer and vocalist for the band makes the comment that it is the heaviest he has heard the band in a long time.
No release date has been given for this new material, but we will keep you up dated as the story develops.
Mastodon are on the cover of this week’s issue of Kerrang!, on sale Wednesday January 9.
