GREEN BAY, Wis. — A Green Bay woman is accused of leaving an infant in a hot vehicle for nearly an hour.
Selena Buckner is charged in Brown County Court with child neglect and obstructing an officer — both as a repeat offender.
According to the criminal complaint, Buckner left her 4-month-old in the car for more than 50 minutes while she shopped at the Walmart along W. Mason Street on Monday. The child was taken to the hospital for treatment of potential heat exhaustion.
Buckner faces up to 5 1/2 years in prison if convicted.
