Every week, a new story- this week’s? Five Finger Death Punch has broken their own record for consecutive number-one songs. The latest is “Eye of the Storm,” coming off their tenth studio album, Legacy, due out on July 31st. Speaking of record-breaking rock bands, the band that holds the record for the most number-one rock songs in the history of the rock chart is Shinedown. Shinedown’s latest single is called “Young Again,” and that’s the only official debut on the countdown this weekend.
While all that great new music is being cranked, we turn our attention to Mongolia for The Hu. Jaya joins us to explain their rise to global domination by playing traditional Mongolian music mixed a blend of groovy hard rock. Their third album is called Hun and it’s due out on July 24th.
