The run of number-one songs over the past few months has been constantly changing, and last week it was Three Days Grace’s turn. The song “Don’t Wanna Go Home Tonight” gives them yet another number-one song, putting them only one behind Shinedown for the most in the history of the rock radio chart. A lot of debuts hit this past week as well from Papa Roach, Bilmuri, and The Hu (who will be next week’s spotlight)
For an all-American kind of weekend, we needed an all-American kind of band. Candlebox have been at it for a long time, and they are kind of the forgotten Seattle band. Their debut came out in 1993 and secured the spot for one of the most played songs in history with “Far Behind.” The ‘Can’t Quit You’ tour has begun, and lead singer Kevin Martin is here to talk about the band’s legacy and how he couldn’t just hang it up.
