It has been a huge 18 months for Evanescence, and fresh off two number one singles Amy Lee and the crew are back with another epic, ‘Who Will You Follow’. If that weren’t enough they also announced a headline tour with Poppy and Spiritbox that will take them around the North America and Europe. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! Sanctuary will be the new albums name and will be out June 5th. Amy Lee had this to say about the album.
“This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up or I wouldn’t know what todo with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”
In addition to the album being a banger, Evanescence also partnered with PLUS1 an organization that provides humanitarian air and medical relief around the world. $1 or Euro or Pound (if you want to be European about it) will be donated to this organization from every ticket sold.
