GREEN BAY, Wis. — A former Green Bay Preble High School student who brought a gun to class will remain in juvenile detention until his 18th birthday.
The 17-year-old boy was found “delinquent” in Brown County Court on one count of possession of a firearm on school grounds.
A handgun was found in the student’s backpack inside a classroom after he was involved in a fight in the school’s common area back in September.
The incident led to a clear bag policy for all Green Bay high schools.
