Wonder what’s coming?!
Brian Burkheiser, the former singer for I Prevail, has taken to social media over the last few days to tease the announcement of a new band and a new song. According to the post, this video is part 1 of 7.
It looks like the name of the band is going to be Scatterbrain, but that hasn’t been confirmed at this time.
In May, Brian left I Prevail with no details behind the reason for his departure. At the time, I Previal said they were “mutually parting ways” and added that it was “a difficult decision, but we believe it is the right one and we are all grateful for the 10 epic years we shared together.”
Fast forward to June, and Burkheiser revealed through a series of Instagram Stories that communication issues within the band caused the “falling out.” At the time, he urged the band’s fanbase not to pick sides and instead rallied support for the group.
Meanwhile, I Prevail released a new digital album called Violent Nature in September and are set to hit the road with Three Days Grace, The Funeral Portrait, and Sleep Theory in February. That tour will make a stop at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on March 5th.
