OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh police arrest a man in connection with a weapons complaint in the 600 block of Jackson Street Friday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to that location after a call of a man in a residence who fired a gun inside the building.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a 50-year-old man matching the suspect’s description. He was taken into custody without incident.
A later search turned up a loaded handgun.
The suspect is identified only as a man from Michigan who was known to those living at the residence. He was taken to the Winnebago County Jail on charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, felon in possession of a firearm and possession of narcotics.
