At long last the waiting for new Breaking Benjamin is over! After what seems like an eternity—five years to be exact—”Awaken” is our first taste of a yet to be named album, which will be their first with new label home BMG. Guitarist Jason Rauch says this song has been a new and exciting moment for the band.
‘We’ve been able to explore more of who we are traditionally, while at the same time push boundaries and try things we haven’t done in the past. Musically we’ve tried to stay true to what Breaking Benjamin is, but offer a new take as well.’
The band is currently wrapping up their Fall tour with Staind, Daughtry and Lakeview, which unfortunately won’t be stopping near Wisconsin.
