OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh police are warning anglers to remove fishing gear and other valuables after bringing their boats off the water for the night.
That follows several reports of of thefts of fishing gear over the past couple of weeks.
Oshkosh police also recommend anglers park their boats in well-lit areas and, if possible, in areas with video surveillance.
Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to contact the Oshkosh Police Department.
