OSHKOSH, Wis. — An Oshkosh man shot by police will spend two years in prison for pointing a weapon at the officers.
Benson Thao is also sentenced in Winnebago County Court to four years on extended supervision.
Officers were called to the Mill Street boat launch last June on the report of a man there with a long-gun. Thao made threats toward the officers, and when he pointed the weapon in their direction, they opened fire.
