Suck it NFL! Here’s the one way the CFL is better than you. Instead of some pop star lip-syncing your halftime show the CFL got Green Day to perform one of the better halftime football shows in recent memory. The game took place in Hamilton, Ontario at The Hammer. The game saw the Montreal Alouettes beating the Winnipeg Bombers 28-24, but during halftime, it was Green Day with the fireworks. Check out the full performance below and don’t forget their new album Saviors is due out in January while their North American tour with Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, and The Linda Lindas is set for next summer.
