The battle of Foo Fighters VS. Metallica rages on as now for the 4th straight week Metallica’s “72 Seasons” remains at number two on the rock charts while “Rescued” by Foo Fighters remains at number one. Jelly Roll and Avenged Sevenfold are right there as well. Legendary frontman Corey Taylor is back on the countdown with his latest solo single, and Skillet makes their debut in the top 21 with the song “Psycho in My Head.”
As the latest Staind single “Lowest in Me” their first new song in 12 years, hits the top 5, guitarist Mike Mushok joins the show. We get some details on their new album due out later this summer, touring with their Boston friends Godsmack, how Mike came up with those weird-ass guitar tunings and so much more. Mike is also the guitarist for Saint Asonia which means he has two songs from two different bands in the top 25 at the same time.
