CRIVITZ, Wis. — Marinette County authorities are investigating a fatal fire in the village of Crivitz.
Marinette County Dispatch received a report of a fire in the 400 block of Hattie Street at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday. The Crivitz and Middle Inlet Fire Departments initially responded and then requested additional help to fight the blaze. The Town of Stephenson, Wausaukee and Town of Lake Fire Departments responded.
While fighting the fire, two bodies were located at the scene. The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of relatives. However, Crivitz police do not suspect foul play contributed to the deaths.
