Fresh off of the release of their EP Introvert, rock supergroup Saint Asonia is set to drop their second EP of 2022. The band, featuring Staind guitarist Mike Mushok as well as former Three Days Grace vocalist Adam Gontier, will release Extrovert on November 18th. The supergroup released the first single from the forthcoming EP titled “Wolf.” Gontier spoke on the inspiration and emotions that created the new track.
“This song was inspired by the chaos, the darkness, and the violence that so many people have to live with in this world. So often we have to fight, scratch, and crawl our way out of unbearably difficult times, making our way to the surface for a moment, just to be thrown back in. It kinda feels like we’re always under attack. ‘Wolf’ is about being backed into a corner and fighting just to stay alive.”
As stated above, Extrovert follows the band’s Introvert EP that was released earlier this summer. Both EP’s will be released together as Introvert/Extrovert on December 9th, and will feature a few bonus tracks as well. Check out the full tracklist as well as the new song “Wolf” below!
