After taking a week off of counting down the top 21 rock songs from the past week in order to pay our respects to Foo Fighters, Shinedown is still in the number one spot. They are holding on by a thread but the record-breaking band still has the number one rock song in America with “Planet Zero.” We also saw three debuts into the top 21 this week with Badflower and Volbeat’s second singles from their latest albums, plus the new song from The Black Keys “Wild Child” debuts at number 17.
Outside of the top 21, we pay our attention to Slipknot as drummer Jay Weinberg joins us. The Knotfest Roadshow tour is happening now and the all mighty Knot are getting ready to release a new album.
