Mother suspected of badly hurting son, 8, in Sheboygan Falls

An 8-year-old Sheboygan Falls boy is in critical condition following injuries suspected to have been caused by his mother. Police were called to Plank Trail Apartments Wednesday afternoon for a report of injury to a child. Officers found the boy unresponsive and he was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan before being transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. The boy’s mother was also hospitalized for self-inflicted traumatic wounds. She’ll be taken into custody after medical clearance. Sheboygan Falls Police will consult the Sheboygan County District Attorney on possible charges.
