The second single from Shinedown’s upcoming album has arrived!
Shinedown roared into 2022 with their chart-topping dystopian single “Planet Zero”, the title track to their upcoming album to be released later on this year. Now they are back again with the album’s second single, titled “The Saints Of Violence And Innuendo”.
This new track continues to showcase Shinedown’s heavier musical sound, as well as showcasing lyrics that continue to drive through the theme of social turmoil in the world today. Frontman Brent Smith has said that Planet Zero will feature controversial topics as it reflects the events that have unfolded over the last two years. “The Saints Of Violence And Innuendo” does just that, as the lyrics in the chorus paint today’s world as a time without empathy.
Check out the new track below!
Planet Zero is set to be released on April 22nd of this year. It boasts an insane 20 song tracklist, and is set up to take the musical direction of the group back into the Sound of Madness era. Shinedown will be at the Resch Center on April 8th with The Pretty Reckless and Diamante.
