The weekly average number of new coronavirus cases exceeds three-thousand for the first time in 11-months. The 3,448 positive tests reported by the Department of Health Services today (Friday) moves the seven-day average to 3,004. It’s first time the number has been above 3,000 since December 19th of 2020. The positivity rate decreased slightly to 11.4%. There were another 15-deaths reported today–including one in Calumet County.
Brown County had 221 new cases. Outagamie County was up by 124. Winnebago County saw 108 new cases–while Calumet County had 22.
