The number of Wisconsin counties with “critically high” coronavirus activity has dropped in half this week. The state Department of Health Services reports just eight counties are at that level–compared to 16 last week. There were another 2,066 positive tests on Wednesday–with a positivity rate of 7.5%. There were another 26-deaths reported yesterday. Two of those were in Winnebago County. Brown and Dodge counties each had one death.
Brown County had 278 new cases. Outagamie County reported 50. Winnebago County was up by 43–while Calumet County had 17 new cases.
