The number of new coronavirus cases in Wisconsin jumps back over two-thousand. The state Department of Health Services reports 2,064 positive tests on Wednesday. The increase is likely due to counties catching up on reporting following the holiday weekend. The weekly positivity rate increased to 8.4%. There were another 19-deaths–bringing the statewide total to 7,686. Outagamie, Winnebago, Waupaca, Shawano, and Dodge counties all reported one death.
Brown County had 114 new cases yesterday. Winnebago county reported 66. Outagamie County was up by 64–while Calumet County had 14 new cases.
