Appleton COVID levels lowest in a year

Appleton drops from the “high” to “moderately high” level for coronavirus activity in the community. It’s the first time the city has been at that level since last June. City Health Officer Kurt Eggebrecht says the drop is due in large part to vaccination efforts.  Appleton has also moved from “high” to “medium” risk for another coroanvirus outbreak.
