This past weekend ABC, CBS, FOX and YouTube aired Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World. The concert took place the Saturday before at SoFi Stadium in L.A. in front of 25,000 people. This made it the first large scale concert in the United States since the start of the pandemic. This of course was an all star concert that featured performances from all walks of life including the Foo Fighters who invited AC/DC’s Brain Johnson on stage to cover “Back in Black.” Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam put together an all star band that included former Red Hot Chili Pepper’s guitarist Josh Klinghoffer and White Reaper’s rhythm section to perform a more rocking version of “Corduroy” and a cover of “I am a Patriot” by Steven Van Zandt.
