On Friday, Dave Grohl will release his new documentary What Drives Us. The documentary, which will debut on Amazon Prime’s Coda Collection, is about those moments when some of the world’s biggest bands were tested by having to travel in a van or whatever they could use to get from city to city in. Dave Grohl says “This film is my love letter to every musician that has ever jumped in an old van with their friends and left it all behind for the simple reward of playing music.”
After explaining the documentary to Jimmy Kimmel and having a talk, Dave Grohl took the stage for a performance of the song “Nausea.” The song was originally released by the legendary punk band X, but Grohl covered it with his daughter Violet, former Nirvana band mate Krist Novoselic, and former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo.
