Mask mandates will still be in place in pockets around Wisconsin.
OSHKOSH
Oshkosh City Manager Mark Rohloff says they passed their own ordinance earlier this year for just this circumstance.
Enforcement of the Oshkosh mask mandate ordinance will be handled by the Winnebago County Health Department, as the city does not have its own health department.
DE PERE
De Pere’s City Council approved a mask mandate in public buildings for people age five and older. People with medical conditions are exempt. Churches are also exempt. There is no end date on the current ordinance.
It is slated to expire on April 30th, but the Common Council could vote to extend it.
De Pere Municipal Code Section 74-13 is now in effect, which requires individuals age five (5) and older to wear face coverings in public spaces. More info can be found here:

OUTAGAMIE COUNTY
Outagamie County officials will issue their own mask mandate.
Public Health Officer Natalie Vandeveld will issue a local public health order on Thursday, April 1, requiring face coverings anywhere under the jurisdiction of the county health department.
“Continuing to practice proven mitigation strategies such as social distancing, hand washing and masking will reduce the spread of COVID-19,” said Vandeveld. “Meanwhile, Outagamie County Public Health is working closely with our partner agencies to continue our intensive efforts to vaccinate our
community as quickly as possible. Choosing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine remains the best action one can take towards stopping further spread here in our communities.”
The exceptions are the City of Appleton and Oneida Nation, which have their own health departments.
“While a statewide approach is much more effective in combating a global pandemic, today’s Supreme Court decision leaves us no other choice but to act at the local level to protect the health and safety of our community,” says Outagamie County Executive Tom Nelson in a statement. “We’ve got to do all we can to limit the spread of the virus and save lives.”
The order applies to everyone 5 years of age and older when indoors or in enclosed spaces around people who are not household members, with some exceptions.
As I say here, President Biden is strongly encouraging state and local governments to issue orders. We've got to do all we can to limit the spread of the virus and save lives. I'm taking action to protect our communities. https://t.co/av4nPxJq9j
