Oshkosh officials say Battle on Bago met social distancing requirements

Oshkosh officials say organizers of last week’s Battle on Bago fishing tournament met all of the requirements for social distancing in their special event permit. Mayor Lori Palmeri says she received numerous complaints from people wondering why attendees were allowed to gather inside a heated tent in Menominee Park. Parks Director Ray Maurer says the capacity of the tent had been greatly reduced.
Video of people in close proximity to each other without masks on was also circulating on social media last weekend.
