The pace of coronavirus vaccination in Wisconsin is picking up. The state Department of Health Services reports nearly 43-thousand shots were administered on Wednesday–the highest single-day total yet. More than 83-thousand Wisconsinites have now received both doses of the COVID vaccine–a record increase of 84-hundred people in one day.
This comes as the state adds another 1,802 new cases–on a positivity rate of 23-percent. There were another 24-deaths on Thursday–bringing the statewide total to 5,791. Brown and Fond du Lac counties both reported two deaths. Waupaca County saw one death.
Outagamie County added 69 new cases on Thursday. Winnebago County was up by 58. Brown county saw 53 new cases–while Calumet County reported 19.
