Ayron Jones is a Seattle born guitarist and singer/songwriter. He hails from the same neighborhood as Jimi Hendrix, but a Hendrix clone he is not. Being influenced by the blues, hard rock, hip-hop and R&B Ayron has a sound all his own. The story of how he started playing though?
“The first guitar I picked up was from a friend of mine in middle school, we were TAing in this class and I just kind of saw him messing around it and I kinda picked it up there, but the first guitar that was ever given to me, that I owned was given to me by this dude who lived up the street and he was a thug, like a gangsta man. His uncle was really into music and I was at his house one day and he says, ‘man you can take this guitar from me cause I’m not doing much with it.’ He saw I was like obsessed with it so he just gave it to me and that’s what changed the game, you know it changed the whole game for me.”
After Ayron tries to teach our very own Cutter how to play the song this episode of Cutter’s Rockcast ends with an exclusive live performance of his hit single “Take Me Away.”
Here’s the actual video for the song “Take Me Away”
