People in Fond du Lac will be able to tell trick or treaters if they’re welcome to come to the door this year.
The city is providing signs that can be put in yards or on porches. Red ones mean no candy will be given out, green ones mean trick or treaters are welcome. City Manager Joe Moore says there are plenty of people leery of having visitors right now.
The trick or treat signs are available at the Fond du Lac City/County Building, the police department and the public library.
