More local nonprofits are having to cancel or change fundraising events.
Youth Go is a center by the border between Neenah and Menasha. Leaders were planning to hold an outdoor haunted maze event last Friday. They called it off, after local health departments issued an alert, and Neenah schools decided to move to all online classes.
Executive Director Kelly Hicks says it wasn’t worth the risk of someone potentially getting sick.
The Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity chapter also called off a benefit at The Turn, in the Titletown District.
Both organizations are accepting donations, after the cancellations.
