Governor Evers says if President Trump is going to come to the Green Bay area and La Crosse for campaign rallies on Saturday, he should make sure everyone is wearing a mask.
At the president’s other recent rallies, most people weren’t following social distancing guidelines or wearing masks. Evers says Trump could also decide not to come, because the two communities are on lists of places across the U.S. with the highest case rates.
Last month, Evers called on Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden not to visit Kenosha in the wake of the Jacob Blake police shooting. He was concerned they could contribute to the spread of the virus.
