Fit For A King is celebrating the release of their upcoming album, The Path, with a virtual release party. The band will air the livestream on their Twitch account, for free, on September 10th at 7pm CST. They will be performing the virtual show at The Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia. The band is asking for some donations, if possible, and said that they will also be selling a virtual merch line during the show and that there will be contests giving away merch, vinyl, and CDs.
“We are so excited to announce our first ever virtual concert!
It’s completely free to watch, and donations will be accepted. Exclusive merch will be sold throughout the event, as well as a huge giveaway.
See you on the front page of Twitch“
The show will be held eight days before the release of The Path, which comes out on September 18th. Fit For A King has already released four songs from the upcoming album. “Breaking The Mirror” was released in May, “God Of Fire” featuring Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake came out in July, “Locked (In My Head)” debuted in early August, and they shared their new song “Annihilation” at the end of August.
“The new album is far from happy, it’s about personal struggles. It touches so many subjects relevant to all our daily lives.
With The Path we find our way out, and claim victory over the demons we have faced and are currently facing. This album is made to be the soundtrack for your victory over what mentally and physically holds us back.”
