Deftones has “blacked out” all of their social media accounts and their website in what is expected to be a tease for their upcoming album. The social media accounts have dark black profile photo, while Facebook, Twitter, and their website have a similar dark black banner with Deftones in white lettering.
The most telling hint that the tease is about the new album is that their website’s new URL, is https://www.deftones.com/0925. “0925”, most likely, points to September 25th, which is a Friday and Friday is when albums are typically released. In June, drummer Abe Cunningham said the album, “Should be coming along, hopefully, maybe September.”

Deftones rescheduled their tour with Gojira and Poppy and are now going to be at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee on August 14th, 2021.
