We’ve posted several videos of 10-year-old Nandi Bushell showcasing her talents. Clearly we weren’t the only ones impressed by her. After seeing her viral video performance of “Guerrilla Radio”, Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave guitarist, Tom Morello gifted her with his just-released signature Fender Soul Power Stratocaster.
Morello also sent her a video message with the guitar
“I’d like you to have this guitar as a gift from me to you because you rock so great, and to see someone rocking so great who is so young, it really gives me hope for the future.
“I didn’t start playing guitar until I was 17 years old, so you are way, super-far ahead of me, and I look forward to hearing a lot more of your music in the future. You’ve got a lot of soul, and here’s a little Soul Power to go with it. Keep it up!”
Bushell’s family caught the moment on camera and can be seen below.
Bushell posted on her YouTube page:
“Dear Tom Morello, thank you so so so much! I can’t believe this is real and you actually sent me a message and your signature guitar, it is so beautiful! AMAZING! I hope we get to jam one day! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow!!!!!”
Nandi started posted videos of her playing around four years ago when she was only six-years-old. Over the past year she has become a YouTube sensation and can be seen playing and screaming along with some of her favorite rock/metal songs on her YouTube page. Her performance of “Guerrilla Radio” can be seen below.
