Fond du Lac County’s health department is putting together recommendations for handling the reopening of the community.
“Safe Restart” is similar to the state’s former Badger Bounce Back plan. It can’t be enforced, because the state doesn’t have any rules in place.
Health Officer Kim Mueller believes it’s important information, because the virus hasn’t gone away. It includes guidelines for businesses and people to follow moving forward.
Right now, the county isn’t meeting the metric for having a downward trend in county-wide coronavirus cases.
