Small businesses have eight days to apply for a $2,500 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
The state agency plans to hand out about 30,000 of them, using $75 million in federal stimulus money. Companies can have up to 20 full-time workers, and up to $1 million in annual revenues.
Secretary Missy Hughes believes about 98,000 businesses in the state fall under that category. She says they’ll use a number of factors, including businesses that have been hit the hardest by the pandemic.
The deadline to apply is June 23rd.
