Two long-term care facilities are getting laptops and iPads from the Kaukauna school district.
Brewster Village in Grand Chute and St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna will use them, to help seniors connect with family, since they can’t have visitors.
District Technology Coordinator Jim Geoffrey says they would normally sell the used items at the beginning of summer. He believes the impact of donating them will be much bigger than the small amount of money they’d collect.
St. Paul received 30 iPads, and Brewster Village got 15.
