UW-Oshkosh plans to reopen its campuses this fall.
Chancellor Andrew Leavitt says they’re flexible, depending on the conditions. The campus is looking to open on September 9th, as originally planned.
UW-Oshkosh will have in-person classes, and online ones for large classes. Students will have the option to take all of their classes online.
Police Chief Kurt Liebold says they want everyone to take steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus. He says that includes wearing masks in campus buildings.
The dorms and dining halls will be open
Leavitt says they’re planning to hold all classes online, after Thanksgiving, because of the start of the cold and flu season. He says if conditions are still good at that point, they could continue with in-person classes.
