Staind frontman Aaron Lewis has confirmed that the band has started working on new music for the first time in nearly a decade. Lewis made the comments while being on guest on Hometown Sessions, the internet show of Godsmack’s Sully Erna. That interview can be seen below.
Staind was scheduled to join Distrurbed on “The Sickness 20th Anniversary Tour” this year, but that has now been postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19.
Aaron Lewis also said that he is planning on releasing a new solo LP later this year. His next solo record was going to be a country album until the president of his record label heard him doing an acoustic show and was moved by it. So, instead of a country record, he is now working on an acoustic one. Lewis said it is a completely acoustic album that will just be an acoustic guitar and vocals.
