Another staple of summer, the neighborhood block party, might not happen in Oshkosh this year.
The Common Council will give direction to city staff tonight on whether to accept any applications for those events.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says a number of neighborhoods are still interested. He says the groups want to be proactive and make sure those parties would be safe.
The Oshkosh council would still consider each block party request, individually.
