The percentage of new positive coronavirus tests increased slightly, while the state set single-day records for new cases and test results received.
The state reports 5.3 percent of tests came back positive, compared to 4.8 percent yesterday, 5.7 percent Wednesday, and 3.6 percent Tuesday.
There are now 17,707 confirmed coronavirus cases in the state. That’s 733 more than yesterday. The daily record had been 599.
The state also got results on 13,602 tests, and that’s almost 3,000 more than the previous high of 10,626.
There have been 568 deaths in Wisconsin, and that’s 18 more.
Winnebago County has 19 new cases, and 224 overall.
Outagamie added nine, for a total of 213. Brown has eight new cases, and 2,308 overall.
Four counties added two more. Fond du Lac is at 194, Shawano 45, Waupaca 29, and Green Lake 18.
Calumet has one more, and a total of 75.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 14 percent.
The state reports 61 percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
