The state is reporting 4.8 percent of new coronavirus tests came back positive.
That’s down from 5.7 percent yesterday, but higher than Tuesday (3.6%) and Monday (4.1%).
There are now 16,974 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin. That’s 512 more than yesterday.
The state also set a record for the second straight day for the number of test results received, at 10,626.
There have been 550 confirmed deaths in the state, and that’s 11 more than yesterday. The death rate in Wisconsin for confirmed cases is three percent.
Brown County has 15 new cases, and 2,300 overall.
Fond du Lac has seven more, for a total of 192.
Two counties each added six. Winnebago is up to 205 and Outagamie 204.
Manitowoc has four new ones, and 36 overall. Shawano added two, and now has 43.
Kewaunee has one more, for 34.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 14 percent, and that’s down one percent from yesterday.
The state is reporting 61 percent of confirmed cases have recovered, and that’s one percent higher than yesterday.
