The state is reporting 5.7 percent of new coronavirus tests came back positive.
That’s up from 3.6 percent yesterday, and 4.1 percent Monday.
There are now 16,462 confirmed cases in Wisconsin. The 599 new cases, and 10,330 test results are both single-day records.
There have been 539 confirmed deaths across the state, and that’s 22 more, setting another single-day record.
Brown County has 36 new cases, for a total of 2,285.
Winnebago added eight, and now has 199 overall. Fond du Lac has six more, and 185 total.
Shawano added three, for 41. Outagamie has two more, and 198 overall.
Five counties have one new case. Calumet is up to 74, Oconto 35, Manitowoc 32, Waupaca 27, and Green Lake 16.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 15 percent.
Sixty percent of confirmed cases in the state have recovered, and that’s up one percent.
