The City of Oshkosh is seeing an increase in the amount of waste collected while people are staying at home.
Garbage and recycling tonnage was up 20 percent in April.
City Manager Mark Rohloff thinks people have more time to handle projects.
The amount of yard waste collected last month was up 65 percent from the city’s three-year average.
