The percentage of new positive coronavirus tests went down for the third straight day.
The state is reporting 3.6 percent came back positive, and that’s down from 4.1 percent yesterday. The total was 5.5 percent on Sunday.
There are now 15,863 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin. That’s 279 more than yesterday.
There have been 517 confirmed deaths in the state, and that’s three more.
Winnebago County has nine new cases, and 191 overall. Fond du Lac added five, and now has 179.
Three counties each have three more. Outagamie is up to 196, Calumet 73, and Waupaca 26. Manitowoc added two, for a total of 31.
For the first time in about two months, Brown County didn’t have any new confirmed cases.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 15 percent.
Fifty-nine percent of confirmed cases in Wisconsin have recovered.
